Description
Natural Health Practitioners of Canada required 3D anatomical images to illustrate a education resource on head and neck. The resource is primarily intended by member practitioners who maintain their certification trough ongoing education. The solution had to be affordable and suitable for DVD or web delivery. The project is currently in a development stage.
Challenges
We are using the Anatomium 3D data set to create the 3D images. The data set enables layering of bone, muscle, ligament, and tissue structures to create any view angle. We apply labels as reqiuied to identify structures.We can also animate the images. Our 3D experience is a primary factor in keeping costs down. We create the images at suitable resolutions for online or DVD delivery.
