Description
Elections Alberta required an online assessment tool to be used in the selection of returning officers and election clerks for Alberta's electoral divisions. The assessment tool consists of a series of modules containing questions that help to measure the qualifications of prospective candidates. Candidates who successfully complete this test can apply to Elections Alberta for the positions.
Challenges
Chinook Multimedia's modular content management system enabled the rapid development of this web-based training tool in less than two weeks. We customized the quiz module to enable features specific to this project: users can answer any question in any module at any time; answers are auto-saved on selection; users can later change their answers; users who fail can take the test a maximum of one more time; multiple customized reports based on applicant profiles and test results are available to Elections Alberta.
