Hoke Chew earned his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Alberta in 2002 and completed the Digital and Interactive Media Design program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2004. He has worked for Chinook since 2004. Hoke is fluent in (X)HTML, DHTML, PHP, XML, Javascript, and ActionScript and works in the following programs: Lightwave 3D, Swift 3D, Discreet 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Director, After Effects, Flash, and GoLive, Quicktime Pro, Final Cut Pro, Apple Soundtrack, and LiveType. Hoke is a skilled designer and illustrator and has been a tremendous addition to the Chinook team. He created the dynamic pre-rendered 3D characters and the illustrations for Edmonton: A City at War. Hoke is the lead illustrator for the Chinook Multimedia Web site and the cooleSuite of software applications.
