Dion Roy joined Chinook upon completing the Multimedia Certificate Program at Alberta College in 2001. In his first three years with Chinook, Dion was lead ActionScript programmer on all of our projects. One of the most skilled Flash programmers in North America, Dion's accomplishments include programming the world's first learning management system to use Flash for the front end, and the original versions of cooleExplore and cooleView. In 2004, Dion became Chinook's project manager. His strong communication skills and natural leadership abilities facilitate a team approach to project development, which is one of Chinook's foundations. His excellent interpersonal skills and thorough understanding of multimedia development are important assets not only for Chinook but also for our clients. As project manager, Dion has overseen the development of cooleCreate and the world's first Shockwave RPG engine and is currently managing the development of cooleSuite.
